A bit farther than I'd go, but the Porta Pro and the KSC75 (which I prefer) are vital to keep you grounded in this hobby. They're so fucking good for so cheap. As for better headphones, there are plenty that are better and more enjoyable but I think the HD650 seems to be the ultimate successor to the Porta Pro in my mind. DT 880 for the KSC75.
regarding the TWS250I, I recommend them a lot, their sound signature is very similar to that of the KSC75 ones, if I had to point somewhere in a ranking, I'd say they're in between of the porta pros and KSc75 in terms of sound quality, I usually prefer the sound of the TWS250I a lot more than the porta pro's as the TWS one sound much clearer to me, less dark than the porta pros, while keeping
Koss KSC75. For those looking for some good vr headphones on a budget have a look at the Koss KSC75. After many years of hearing so many great things about the Koss Porta Pro, I've decided to give them a try, I need some small compact headphones for mobile use as (while I have some decent cans at home) I always used cheap 25bucks Philips or JBL headphones outside.
After 10 min of testing, I took the drivers off and retrofitted the KPH30i drivers on the P/21 headband, which was a pretty straight forward job. The headband in it self was worth it and I'm happy with the result. As for the P/21 drivers, I plan to put them in my MC helmet, so the purchase wasn't a mistake after all. raistlin65.
